Step 1. You can obtain Connect in a number of ways:

Buy access using a credit card

Note: If you've already purchased the book using either a credit card or access code, you still have to join the class. Enter the email address you used when purchasing the book.

Step 4. Choose one of the options:
  • (A) Purchase. This will take you through a purchase flow where you will register for Connect first and then enter billing and credit card information.
  • (B) Access code. Enter the access/registration code printed on the card that came with your textbook or which you purchased separately.
  • (C) Temporary Access. This is a two-week free trial that enables you to register and access your course/assignments prior to purchasing access. This option is convenient if your are awaiting financial aid or if you may drop the class and do not want to commit to purchasing Connect just yet.

Best Practices:

If you change sections during the term or your registered for the wrong section, ask your instructor to provide you with the web address of the new/correct section you need to be transferred into, click Register Now and follow the prompts. Connect will recognize your account and allow you to easily register in the new section. If you submitted assignments in the other section, the grades cannot be transferred.

Remember to purchase full access to Connect before the temporary access period ends in order to eliminate any unnecessary interruptions in Connect. When purchasing full access, use the same email address you used to sign up for temporary access.
